Data Retention Policy

1. Purpose

MaxiCLI (a service operated by Al-Maleka Communications) is committed to transparency about how long we retain your data and how it is handled. This policy outlines retention periods for each type of data and how to request deletion.

2. Data Retention Periods

3. Data Deletion Requests

You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. Steps:

  1. Send a deletion request to hello@maxicli.com specifying which data to delete
  2. We will confirm receipt within 48 hours
  3. We will process the deletion within 30 days maximum
  4. We will send you a confirmation upon completion

You can request deletion of:

  • All your data entirely (account closure)
  • Specific customer records
  • Conversation history only
  • Advertising campaign data only

4. Automated Cleanup

We automatically clean up expired data on a periodic basis. When the retention period expires, data is automatically deleted from our systems.

5. Backup Retention

After data is deleted from the primary system, it may remain in backups for up to 30 additional days before being permanently removed. Data cannot be recovered after the deletion process is complete.

6. Advertising & Social Media Platform Data

Regarding advertising campaign data on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram):

  • We retain campaign data only during the active period and for 6 months after
  • Targeting data based on conversation analytics is deleted when the campaign ends
  • You can request deletion of campaign data at any time
  • We do not share your campaign data with other advertisers
  • We comply with each advertising platform's data policies

7. Legal Retention

In exceptional cases, we may retain certain data for longer if required by Egyptian law or to protect our legal rights. In such cases, we will inform you of the reason and expected duration.
